With COVID’s Omicron variant spreading fast, Kare Plan wanted to ensure our carers were protected in the best way possible. We secured FFP2 masks from the HSE to aid our diligent frontline workers. The HSE also provided guidelines on the proper steps to wearing the FFP2 masks.

The World Health Organisation cites studies which show the filtration systems of FFP2 and N95 masks are 94 and 95 per cent effective respectively. We provided faceshields for staff combined with the masks.

To collect your FFP2 masks and any additional PPE you require, please contact your Client Care Manager or visit your local Kare Plan office.
